Overview:
This case focuses on differentiating between grief and depressive illness, and the appropriate management for depression. The impact upon family when a person suffers with depression is also considered. All graduating students must be able to diagnose and manage depression, using both pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy (usually via referral to another specialist). n.b.
